David
B. Weinstein, M.D.
Dr. Weinstein graduated from Yale University before going on to earn his
medical degree from Chicago Medical School. A native New Yorker, he then
returned home to complete his internship at Mt. Sinai Hospital and later
joined New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center for his residency. Dr. Weinstein
has since been appointed to the faculty of New York Hospital, Westchester
Medical Center and Stamford Hospital. He has conducted specialized research
in his area of expertise, obstetrics and gynecology.
A member of many obstetrical and gynecological societies, Dr. Weinstein
is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He was
declared one of the "Best Doctors in America" for 1996-1997. He
received recognition as one of the "Top Doctors New York Metropolitan
Area" for six years running (1998-2003). Recently, he received an award
of "America's Top Obstetricians and Gynecologists" for 2004-2005.
Dr. Weinstein has served his country as a lieutenant commander in the United
States Navy. He is also a member of the Connecticut Advisory Board of the
American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Gary
S. Besser, M.D.
Before earning his medical degree from Downstate University, Gary S. Besser,
M.D. completed his undergraduate studies at Syracuse University, post-graduate
studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a research fellowship
at Hadassah Medical Center, Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He then joined
Stamford Hospital to complete his residency in 1986 and received board certification
from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1988. He is appointed
to the Stamford Hospital. Dr. Besser specializes in laparoscopic surgeries,
the evaluation of Pap smear abnormalities and urogynecologic procedures.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member
of numerous medical associations and obstetrical and gynecological societies,
Dr. Besser was selected one of the "Top Doctors in the New York Metropolitan
Area" for four years (1999, 2001, 2003 & 2004) and was named one of
"The Best Doctors in New York in 2002 & 2004" by New York magazine.
Dr. Besser has an academic appointment at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital
and he serves on the Connecticut State Maternal Mortality Committee. He
has also recently received an award as one of "America's Top Obstetricians
and Gynecologists."

Lisa
A. Dishongh, M.D.
Dr. Dishongh carried out her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University,
graduating with degrees in biology and psychology, and then earned her medical
degree from University of Texas in 1986, garnering several academic honors
along the way. She continued her training at Stamford Hospital, completing
her residency there in 1990.
A member of the American Medical Association, Dr. Dishongh received board
certification from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1990.
She is a member of several medical societies.

Edward Heading, M.D.
Dr. Heading earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Columbia College
and continued his education at New York Medical College, where he received
his medical degree in 1990. He completed his residency in 1994 at Stamford
Hospital and was certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
in 1996.
Dr. Heading is a member of several professional societies and hospital committees.
He specializes in laparoscopic surgery, the evaluation of Pap smear abnormalities
and urogynecologic procedures.

Astrid
Hoffmann-Olsen, M.D.
After earning a degree in nursing from Western Kentucky University and completing
her undergraduate studies at Middle Tennessee State University, Dr. Hoffmann
attended James H. Quillen College of Medicine and received her degree in
1991. She completed her internship and residency at Stamford Hospital and
was certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1997.
Dr. Hoffmann is a member of the American Medical Association and several
other professional societies, including a number of local medical associations.

Amy
Kleinklaus-Lee, D.O.
Dr. Kleinklaus earned her undergraduate degree in biology from the State
University of New York at Stony Brook and her doctor of osteopathy at the
New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Osteopathy is a branch of medicine
founded on the idea that diseases are often the result of misalignments
of the musculoskeletal system. She completed her internship and residency
at Stamford Hospital in 1999.
Dr. Kleinklaus contributed to research programs at State University of New
York at Stony Brook and the Washington University School of Medicine and
has published her work in a number of medical journals. She has received
several awards, including the 1996 Presidential Service Award from the New
York College of Osteopathic Medicine.
